In a previous post I talked about how hard it is to meet interesting, available people in the wild. I’ve never met a stranger and have no problem talking to people, I tend to make friends everywhere I go, but it’s been difficult to find a person who really sparks my interest, oh and is also single, straight, smart and hopefully has a nice butt.
I talked in that post about how I’d been bowling on a fun league for six years but was afraid I’d have to take a season (or more) off because we were having difficulty finding a fun fourth to replace a team member who dropped out. I’d been trying to poach bowlers from other teams without much success. Well the same week that I wrote that post we bowled against a team that we hadn’t met or played before. They were a riot, even though they kicked our tails. One guy on their team kept catching my eye, I was sure I knew him from somewhere. Turns out we had worked on the same base and knew a lot of the same people.
The week after that we exchanged numbers and have been texting and even chatting on the phone daily. He’s smart, charming, hilarious, handsome, and has definitely sparked my interest. I’m thrilled to announce that he’s agreed to bowl on our team next season!
I have no idea where this will lead, if anywhere, and don’t want to get ahead of myself by worrying about that right now, it just renews my faith in humanity to know that you really can still make a connection in the wild. Also, pro tip – bowling makes it easy to check out the booty.
